How to connect the API using WhatsApp Pairing Code
As you know, you need to connect the API with your WhatsApp account. This is normaly doing by scanning a QR Code. However, you can also do it using the Pairing Code method. Just follow the instructions below to connect the API using the Pairing Code.

Step-by-step instructions on how to do it:

1) Before you start, please ensure that the exact number that you want to link is added as “Phone” in your APIkey. If the phone number is different, the connection won’t work.

And ensure that the phone number added match exactly the phone number that you are using to link the API. The phone number should include the country code like +49123123123.

2) Go to the WhatsApp App, Settings -> Linked Devices

3) Click “Link a device”

4) Click “Link with phone number instead”

5) Generate a “Pairing Code” using the following URL:

https://api.textmebot.com/status.php?&usePairingCode=yes&apikey=

Please note that this code will expire in 30 seconds aproximatelly.

6) Type the Pairing Code into your WhatsApp App

7) You will see the API connected after a few seconds
